Nvidia GTX970

 

Grafická karta Nvidia GTX970 je dnes velmi populární, opěvovaná a stejně tak kritizovaná za 500MB pomalejší paměti apod. Kromě jiného také proto, že v současné době vydává Nvidia nové šarže grafik s označením 1070 a 1080, ale také AMD hodně diskutovanou grafickou kartu s označením RX 480.

Proto jsme udělali kompletní testy GTX 970, aby mohli její majitelé srovnat výsledky v kvalitním a populárním benchmarku 3DMark s ostatními grafikami, co se týče použití v rozlišeních 720p, 1080p, ale také 2k a 4k. kromě toho 3DMark nabízí také test připravenosti grafických karet pro DX12 s názvem API Overhead Feature.

Součástí všech videí je také konfigurace PC a samotné nastavení benchmarku, které je ale ponecháno pro kvalitnější porovnání v defaultních hodnotách.

Fire Strike ULTRA

Test 4k Gaming 3840x2160

Description

Fire Strike Ultra raises the rendering resolution to 3840 × 2160 (4K UHD), drawing four times as many pixels per frame as Fire Strike. A 4K monitor is not required, but your graphics card must have at least 3 GB of memory.

Graphics test

Graphics test 1 has heavy tessellation and volumetric illumination. Graphics test 2 features complex smoke simulation using compute shaders on the GPU and dynamic particle illumination.

Physics test

The Physics test runs 32 parallel simulations of soft and rigid body physics on the CPU.

Combined test

The Combined test includes tessellation, illumination, smoke simulation and particles and post processing on the GPU, while the CPU is tasked with running 32 parallel physics simulations.

Fire Strike EXTREME

Test 2k Gaming 2560x1440

Description

Fire Strike Extreme is designed for testing PCs with multiple GPUs (minimum 1.5 GB graphics card memory required). It raises the rendering resolution from 1920x1080 to 2560x1440 and improves the visual quality.

Graphics test 1 has heavy tessellation and volumetric illumination. Graphics test 2 features complex smoke simulation using compute shaders on the GPU and dynamic particle illumination.

Physics test

The Physics test runs 32 parallel simulations of soft and rigid body physics on the CPU.

Description

Fire Strike is a DirectX 11 benchmark for high-performance gaming PCs and overclocked systems. Fire Strike is very demanding, even for the latest graphics cards. If your frame rate is low, use Sky Diver instead.

Graphics test 1 has heavy tessellation and volumetric illumination. Graphics test 2 features complex smoke simulation using compute shaders on the GPU and dynamic particle illumination.

Physics test

The Physics test runs 32 parallel simulations of soft and rigid body physics on the CPU.

Sky Driver

Test Full HD 1920x1080

Description

Use Sky Diver to test DirectX 11 systems with mainstream graphics cards, mobile GPUs, or integrated graphics that cannot achieve double-digit frame rates in the more demanding Fire Strike test.

Graphics test

Graphics test 1 focuses on tessellation and uses a forward lighting method. Graphics test 2 focuses on pixel processing and uses a compute shader-based deferred tiled lighting method.

Physics test

This physics simulation tests CPU performance with an increasing number of statues that collapse when struck by hammers swinging from chains.

Cloud Gate

Test 720p

Description

Cloud Gate is a DirectX 11 feature level 10 benchmark suitable for all classes of DirectX 10 compatible Windows notebooks and home PCs. If your PC supports DirectX 11, you should run Sky Diver.

Graphics test

Graphics test 1 has lots of geometry, heavy post processing and particle effects. Graphics test 2 features volumetric illumination and a lower level of geometry and post processing.

Physics test

The Physics test runs 32 simulations of soft and rigid body physics in parallel on the CPU.

Ice Storm EXTREME

Description

Ice Storm Extreme raises the rendering resolution from 1280 × 720 to 1920 × 1080 and uses higher quality textures and post-processing effects in the Graphics tests to create a more demanding test.

Graphics test 1 is vertex heavy and has shadows. Graphics test 2 is pixel heavy and includes particle effects and post processing.

Physics test

The Physics test runs four simulations in four separate threads. Each simulation features two soft and two rigid bodies colliding with each other.

Ice Storm

Description

Use Ice Storm to compare smartphones, tablets and ultra-portable notebooks. You can compare Ice Storm scores from Windows, Android and iOS devices. Ice Storm is a DirectX 11 feature level 9 test.

Physics test

API Overhead Feature

Test DX12

Description

Games typically make thousands of draw calls per frame. The lower the API's overhead, the more draw calls that can be made. This test compares API performance. Do not use it to compare graphics cards.

Method

The API Overhead feature test makes a large number of draw calls. Each draw call creates overhead for the CPU.

The number of draw calls increases in steps. The test result is the number of draw calls per second achieved before the frame rate drops below 30 FPS.

The purpose of this test is to compare APIs on a single PC. You should not use these scores to compare systems or graphics cards.
